hwa home warranty of america reviews

You can actually get better odds in Vegas. I received a home warranty when I bought my home from the estate of the previous owner. It proved valuable, since the previous owner had not kept up maintenance for some years. The warranty paid for replacement of the frozen main water shutoff, fixing an unsteady toilet and fixing a leaky tub drain fixture. That said, the quality of some of the work was not great. The toilet was unsteady because the tile floor on which it sat was uneven.

No callback. Per our earlier conversation, you stated an in network contractor was located in Indio California… that is 166 miles away from the property address. The contractor in Canyon Country is about 50 miles away and the contractor in Tarzana One Call Fixes It All is a handyman service. Your system needs to reflect a better inventory of license and bonded in network contractors for HVAC repairs within the area code the property is located. I’ve been a loyal 2 10 customer for twenty years and for the most part have been satisfied with the service. Based on the time it took to get a decision it would’ve been longer if I didn’t follow up, the numerous call transfers and hold times I endured, and me doing the legwork to get a contractor out to the property because no in network contractors were accessible, there is no way I will renew with 2 10 next February. Another factor in this decision, my wife has been physically ill due to the intense Southern California heat wave occurring at this time. The portable fans in our house are 100% ineffective. In the beginning, the experience with the technicians has been very good. They came out to my house about four times. But the same thing kept happening over and over and I kept doing the same thing over and over again.

Then we finally got a fantastic company out to look and quote the unit. It needs replacing, they filled the proper paperwork and we went on with our business. I was told it could take a week to get it approved with the part. 3 weeks pass. We have no part and we found out our claim was denied and we have to send out home inspection for our claim to be reviewed. I was told this on 7/16. I sent the home inspection while on the phone with Shaneka . I was told 24 48 hours, but I told them the house is 90 degrees every single day, can we speed this up?No. They cannot. So I waited and called back Wednesday. No movement and no one to talk to.
